Associate Accountant

If yes, read on. Celtra is hiring an Associate Accountant to enable the accounting and finance team to effectively deliver on a billing cycle that is growing in parallel with the company. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will assist and eventually own all areas of the standard billing cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand commercial terms of subscriptions as a means to create, edit, and maintain billing tracker files from contracts
  • Assist the Director with billing during the beginning of months
  • Work comfortably within excel in a clear, organized manner
  • Organizing billing information and effectively communicating within the finance and accounting team to ensure accuracy and flag discrepancies
  • Involvement in ad-hoc finance and accounting initiatives and tasks demonstrating an ability to grow and learn

Qualifications:

  • Must be organized and detailed - a stickler for getting it right the first time

  • Proficient knowledge of Excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP & index-match, sumifs, and if statements
  • 6 - 12 months of experience (internship/co-op experience applicable)
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Accounting
