Marketing Specialist

We're seeking a Marketing Specialist to play a key role in execution of APAC based events and digital promotional activities. You will be responsible for executing events that drive leads, expanding the reach of our messaging within the relevant audience through established communication channels, media partners and supporting our global marketing through local insights. 

Job Description

  • Manage the comprehensive event process from end-to-end: assisting in ideating strategy, scoping target audience and objectives, preparing post-event analyses, reports and recommendations and more
  • Help to source and to negotiate with vendors and suppliers in APAC region
  • Coordinate and ensure all operations are fully executed with efficiency and according to plan 
  •  Lead promotional activities for events - create social media editorial and promotional plans together with the global team
  • Be the go-to contact for vendors, internal and contracted staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.)
  • Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads to create sales-ready leads and opportunities
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop messaging that will garner interest
  • Engage with prospective customers to develop new business relationships, understand the digital advertising challenges they are trying to address and determine the solution(s) that will be of value
  • Ensure efficient lead management by updating lead scoring and prospect interaction in Salesforce 


  • 1-3 years of event creation and execution experience in a high-velocity, high-growth environment 
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience in events with 30+ attendees
  • Innate understanding of Brand Voice and channels in all content creation 
  • A critical thinker and problem solver - someone who we can trust to make the right call from a limited set of information, utilize information at their discretion and execute as appropriate with minimal supervision
  • Would be nice: 
  •  1-3 years of experience with social networks and their advertising platforms such as Facebook (Ad Manager), Twitter,  and LinkedIn (Campaign Manager) 
  • Exceptional writing skills that can be applied to external promotional event material
